Our highly trained staff is dedicated to supporting the development of all children. Our teachers and support staff use Maria Montessori's proven methodologies and a highly effective curriculum to help children grow academically, socially, and physically. We regularly participate in professional development in order to improve our skills and offer a better learning experience for the children.
Director/Teacher
Amber Jennings holds the AMS Early Childhood Credential and has been teaching in a Montessori Classroom for 14 years. As of 2009, Amber is seeking her Elementary Certification through MEI and teaches two days per week in the elementary classroom.
Co-Teachers
Sally Rogers has a BS in Early Childhood Education Pre-K-Grade 4 and has 8 years of teaching experience in a traditional setting. Sally is currently working towards her Montessori Elementary Certification with MEI in Louisville TN. Sally teaches three days in the elementary classroom.
Mary Margaret McKinnon holds the AMI Early Childhood Credential from Loyola University. She also has her Masters in Education and has 7 years of Montessori teaching experience.
Jessica Hodges is currently a senior at TSU graduating in May 2010 with a BS in Psychology and holds an AS in Spanish. She is also in the process of completing her Montessori Early Childhood training through MEI. She has worked with children in school settings and as a nanny for 10 years. She also attended a Montessori School as a child.
